Last week I put on my Acadia-National-Park-Artist-in-Residence hat and gave a slide presentation at the Schoodic Institute. It’s about half an hour long:

I started the process of having notecards printed back in late July. The first print company messed up twice, so I have 1400 ink-spotted cards in a corner of my studio. The second print company did a great job, and I’ve listed these in packs of 5 on my Etsy shop. Clicking on the photos will take you to the listings. The product photo shoot was a blast – it was a gorgeous day, more late summer than early fall, and two sailboats had thoughtfully moored between the islands, making a perfect background.

Seashell Snowflake 4

I am having entirely too much fun making these snowflakes. It’s very meditative work, sorting the shells and stones by color and size, and then working out the patterns. Prints are available in my Etsy shop. In other news, we’ve set dates for the lectures I mentioned last post:
